Who it is for

01

Suppliers and sales teams

Food, equipment, POS, payments and insurance sellers get a daily-updated list of newly registered venues, sortable for pre-opening outreach or post-opening visits, a free weekly email, and on Pro CSV export or Google Sheets sync.

02

Restaurant owners and founders

Check up your own venue, see rivals within 300 m, 500 m or 1 km on the map, and use district competition scores to decide whether and where to open.

03

Chains and consultants

Compare chain scale and reputation, district demand and white space, and drop PDF reports straight into proposals.

What you can see

All screens are from the live product (Oct 2026). Overview, map and districts are open without signing in; registering unlocks more rows.

Data credibility, shown openly

01

Tax records and Google Maps venues are matched by name and address into four levels: exact, strong, weak and unlinked. Only exact and strong matches feed metrics such as venue age and capital.

02

The quality-audit page publishes 202 checks and their results every day, with failed and under-review items listed first.

03

Sources and last-update time are shown in the footer. Competition scores are relative within each county and not comparable across counties. New-store lists are registrations, not confirmed openings, so treat them as leads to verify.

Plans

Register free to try it, upgrade when you need full lists and CSV export; a single report can also be bought for NT$299 and up. Prepaid, no auto-renewal.

Why I built it

After years in financial services and digital marketing analytics, I noticed small restaurants and their suppliers lack not tools but a timely answer to where the opportunity is. Javelin turns public data into lists and charts you can act on, and is my first step in productising my consulting methods.

FAQ

Where does the data come from?

More than 50 official and public sources, including Ministry of Finance business-tax records, Google Maps, interior-ministry population and price data, and transport open data, with venues matched by name and address. Sources and periods are listed in the product.

Are new stores already open?

Not necessarily. The list comes from tax registration, so a venue may not have opened yet. Treat it as a lead to visit or verify.

Which areas are covered?

Restaurants in Taipei City, New Taipei City and Yilan County, 53 districts in total. More areas will follow demand.

Can I get a custom report or an internal dashboard?

Yes. I offer data consulting and dashboard builds for food service and retail. Contact me through the footer.
