ChartBar Explained | How Much Do People Spend at Convenience Stores?

Key findings

• Kinmen County is the highest at NT$171.00 per transaction, followed by Nantou (165.88), Penghu (160.67), Lienchiang/Matsu (154.33) and Hualien (152.83). Three of the top five are outlying islands.
• Hsinchu City is the lowest at NT$126.56, with Taipei (129.31) and Keelung (129.38) close behind.
• Taipei has the highest restaurant spending in Taiwan but nearly the lowest convenience store spending — a contrast you only see by comparing charts side by side.
